Laws of Migration

“We oppose all immigration laws” [1], says the Revolutionary Communist Group, though one may fairly suppose it has a different view on emigration.

Countries where life is crap don't need immigration laws. The Berlin Wall was not put up to stop people getting in.

Indeed.

I oppose all immigration laws also, and I believe as far from a Communist as I can get...but I'm still working on it.

I like to be able to settle anywhere and see plenty of variety where I go.

Emmigration and immigration? Is it possible to control a Determined Other? Thankfully, I don't believe it is.

jomama - so laws, in general, have no effect? After all, they attempt to control behavior, even that of a "Determined Other," wherever they are implemented. Thus, by your "logic," there is no sense in having laws at all since you don't believe that control is possible.

I just *knew* I'd learn something new today.
