Fewtril #153

Much of the trouble with liberty comes from the difficulty that people have in appreciating that the right to act like a rotter does not mean one ought to act like one.

Enjoy your site. Think I got here via Steve Sailer. Not sure though.

Got time to tell your international audience what a "rotter" is? I can guess from context, of course, but perhaps it means something more specific than I'm imagining..

Bob, our host comes from a more elegant age in which there was a duty of care towards language.

I, on the other hand, am definitely inelegant, so replace the word "rotter" with the word "shit" and, in this day and age, all will be made clear - unfortunately

Nicely explained, Mr Duff.

I forgot to say, Bob: welcome.

In ascending order:

Greetings again.

Thanks for the welcome, and for the guidance about "rotter."

As I read my first post up there, I find myself embarassed. This seems like the kind of place where people speak in complete sentences. I must have thought myself in a hurry for some reason. I no doubt saved myself several milliseconds by leaving off the subjects of a few sentences.

Cheers,
