That does require one important assumption.
Well, the modern libertarian is just a Whig with the culture turned down and the adolescent streak turned up.
That things can only get better until they need to make an other killing - GS, JPM et al and then the next crisis is manufactured.
The best summary definition I've heard, Recusant.
The man who made that prediction in 1925 must have been so loved by his contemporaries.
